Our shelves are filled with Bluebonnet titles that students can't wait to explore. Every day, someone is asking, \"Can I check that one out next?\" or proudly recommending a story they've just finished.\r\n Students eagerly grab the newest Bluebonnet books, share favorite scenes with friends, and even trade titles back and forth so everyone gets a turn. The conversations happening around these books—about characters, themes, and lessons—show how deeply they're connecting with each story.\r\nStudents are especially excited about getting to cast their vote for their favorite Bluebonnet Book of the Year! They love feeling like real critics and having their voices count in something bigger than our school. There's already a friendly debate about which book deserves the top spot!\r\nBecause of your generosity, you've helped create not just readers, but enthusiastic book lovers who can't wait to see which Bluebonnet title wins this year's vote!","fullyFundedDate":1753810633255,"projectUrl":"project/bluebonnet-bound-growing-readers/9486881/","projectTitle":"Bluebonnet Bound: Growing Readers","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Sweet","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3066183"},{"teacherId":3066183,"projectId":8486054,"letterContent":"I want to thank you personally for your generous donation. Your support has brought incredible excitement and engagement to my students as they explore the world of coding with the micro:bit.\r\n\r\nMy students have just started writing code and are thrilled to see what the micro: bit can do. Their first project involved programming a visual display featuring a personalized message and an emoji, accompanied by musical notes they coded themselves. They're tackling a more advanced challenge: creating a rock, paper, and scissors simulation using variables with if/then logic sequences. After writing and downloading the code, they got to test their program in a friendly competition!\r\n\r\nWhat's most exciting is how this hands-on experience is transforming their learning. Instead of coding on a computer, they research ways to personalize projects, from developing their games to creating weather stations or digital pet simulations. This shift has made learning meaningful, inspiring creativity, problem-solving, and deeper engagement with technology.\r\n\r\nA few of my students are interested in moving from writing codes with blocks to more advanced coding with Javascript. \r\n\r\nThank you again for making this possible.
