These snacks are making a positive difference by giving my athletes additional support as they work hard to improve their strength, endurance, and overall performance. My students were excited and grateful when they first saw the snacks available for them. They appreciated knowing that someone cared about their well-being and wanted to support their athletic goals. It meant a lot to them to have these resources available, especially because our boys' athletics program has limited funding. Seeing their excitement reminded me how much even a small act of generosity can mean to our students. Our next step is to continue teaching our athletes the importance of healthy eating, proper hydration, and fueling their bodies before games and weight room sessions. We will encourage students to make healthier food choices and understand how nutrition can affect their energy, recovery, strength, and performance.
