In \"The L.A.B.\", our Learning Accountability & Belonging space for Special Populations as YES Prep Hobby Secondary, these materials have become an essential part of how students access math concepts that once felt overwhelming. Whether we are modeling problems together, working through Flight School practice sets, or building confidence during intervention time, the resources you provided allow students to see, touch, and interact with the math in ways that truly meet them where they are. One of my favorite moments was watching a student who typically shuts down during math light up and say, \"I get it now,\" after using the materials to walk through a problem step by step.\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, their reactions said it all. There was excitement, curiosity, and a real sense of ownership over their learning. Several students immediately asked if they could use the tools during independent practice and assessments, which was powerful because it showed they were beginning to advocate for what helps them learn best. For many of my students, especially those who require additional academic support, having access to these resources helped remove barriers and replaced frustration with confidence.\r\nMoving forward, these materials will continue to support students as we work through current and upcoming lessons focused on building foundational math skills and applying them to real-world problems. The next steps include increasing independence, strengthening problem-solving stamina, and helping students transfer these skills into their general education classrooms and assessments. Your support has made a lasting impact, not just on a single lesson, but on how my students see themselves as capable learners. Thank you for investing in them and for being part of our classroom journey.","fullyFundedDate":1758203015482,"projectUrl":"project/bridging-gaps-building-confidence-math/9483433/","projectTitle":"Bridging Gaps, Building Confidence: Math for All","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Brown","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10085814"},{"teacherId":5668741,"projectId":9449450,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donation to Comfy Calming Counseling. My students have enjoyed the items, and they have come in handy for so many different students in helping them regulate their emotions and providing them the space to calm down. Students in school deal with a lot of emotions on a daily and being able to provide them with a safe space that allows them to process their emotions and feel \"seen\" and \"okay\" The space has drastically reduced the amount of relational aggression incidents that we have seen last year.
