Because of you, my students now have the essential supplies they need—pencils, colored pencils, and glue sticks—to learn, create, and succeed every single day. What might seem like small items are, in truth, powerful tools that have already begun transforming our classroom.\r\n\r\nA sharpened pencil is often a child's first step into expressing ideas, solving problems, and building confidence in their work. Before this project was funded, many of my students faced the daily challenge of not having the most basic tools to participate fully in lessons. Something as simple as running out of pencils could cause frustration or make a student feel left behind. Thanks to your kindness, every child now has access to the materials they need to engage with confidence, independence, and joy.\r\n\r\nThe colored pencils have been an especially exciting addition. Right away, my students put them to use creating color wheels as part of a lesson on art and design. This hands-on activity helped them explore how colors work together, and they were thrilled to see their wheels come to life with bold, bright hues. We also used the new supplies to celebrate International Dot Day, where students colored and designed their own dot-inspired artwork. Our hallways are now filled with these joyful creations, and it has been so meaningful to see students proudly display their work for others to enjoy.\r\n\r\n\r\nBeyond academics, your support has had a profound impact on our classroom environment. When students know they have the tools they need, they approach learning with greater enthusiasm and confidence. They are no longer worried about whether they'll be able to complete a task—they know they are prepared. This sense of security fosters a more positive, collaborative atmosphere, where students can focus on learning and supporting one another.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has given my students more than just school supplies—it has given them opportunities to explore, create, and feel proud of their work. You've shown them that their education matters and that there are people who believe in their potential. For many of my students, this is a powerful and motivating message that will stay with them far beyond this school year.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for making such a lasting difference. My students got very excited to receive their pencils, eraser tops, scissors, and pencil sharpeners in order to meet daily basic school needs and assignments. These materials made the routines so much simpler and quicker to get done. \r\n\r\nThank you also for the stickers, they are big fans of our 120 sticker system. Once they reach that amount of stickers as you can see in the pictures, their chart gets displayed in the hallway and they are able to say they completed that many school assignments independently. These stickers, although simple do have a positive impact on them. They are able to visualize all the hard work they put into each assignment every day in math, reading, science and social studies. The markers also have helped me handmake create anchor charts for them. They have helped so many students find a new love and talent within their art. We were able to complete quite a few projects using these adaptive markers such as a national bus contest, sculptures, valentines projects, and a lot more to come. For a long time, some of my students would fight me about coloring in their whole page because it was tedious work for them and we're still learning to have grit. These markers have changed their perspective and allowed them to see how great it is when they take their time and put in effort to color everything.
