Because of your kindness, my students now have the equipment they need to play, move, and learn in new and exciting ways.\r\n\r\nMy students are energetic, creative, and full of enthusiasm, and now our PE program finally matches their energy. Many of them come from low-income households, but they show up every day ready to learn and participate. Your support has allowed us to make PE more engaging, inclusive, and fun for everyone.\r\n\r\nThe students were quick to notice the new equipment as soon as they walked into the gym. They pointed out the bright colors and new materials and were eager to try everything out right away. It didn't take long for us to start putting the new supplies to use.\r\n\r\nThe bean bags were one of the first items we used, and they've already made a big difference. We started with Corn Hole, which is always a favorite, but in the past we didn't have enough bean bags for everyone to participate at once. That often meant long waits between turns. Now, with enough bean bags for each group, everyone gets more time to play and practice. It's been great watching students stay involved and focused while cheering each other on. The game has also helped them work on hand-eye coordination, aim, and teamwork.\r\n\r\nThe Gator Skin balls have been a huge success in several of our favorite games, including Snowman Down, Boom City, and Fire & Ice. These games involve a lot of throwing and catching, so having soft, durable balls has made a big difference in keeping things safe and fun. The students have said they like how easy the Gator Skin balls are to grip and throw, and it's made even the faster-paced activities more accessible to everyone.\r\n\r\nThe bowling pins have also been very useful. We've used them for football passing drills and as \"snowmen\" targets during our Snowman Down game. Students really enjoy aiming and knocking them over, and it's helped improve accuracy and control in a fun way. These small additions have helped make our lessons more creative and interactive.\r\n\r\nWe haven't started our soccer unit yet, but the new soccer goals are going to be great for when we do. They'll help students practice accuracy when shooting and kicking, as well as give us the chance to set up small-sided games that focus on passing and teamwork. The students have already asked when we'll be bringing the goals out, so I know they're excited to use them.\r\n\r\nThe potato sack race bags are another big hit. We're saving them for Field Day at the end of the year, and the students are already looking forward to it. A few years ago we had potato sack races, and they were one of the most popular events of the day. I'm excited to bring them back and know they'll add a lot of fun and energy to the event.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our physical education program is more active, organized, and exciting than ever. You've helped give every student a chance to participate fully and enjoy being active. These materials will continue to benefit our students for years to come.\r\n\r\nThank you again for supporting our program and believing in the importance of physical education. We truly appreciate it.","fullyFundedDate":1754158053114,"projectUrl":"project/help-bring-new-fun-equipment-to-our-pe-c/9499259/","projectTitle":"Help Bring New Fun Equipment to Our PE Class","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Magallan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8988522_orig.png?crop=272,272,x285,y140&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753417081418","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8988522"},{"teacherId":8119961,"projectId":9048132,"letterContent":"On behalf of my students and myself, I am sincerely grateful for your generous donation to our flexible seating project on DonorsChoose.org.
