The new classroom materials have been a wonderful improvement to my classroom. It has created opportunities for my students to expand their knowledge and make connections to the real world. They now understand the importance of growing plants. In the garden center they grow the fruits and vegatables that later will be used at the bakery to make pastries. The also sell some of the plants to our own hardware store. The students had the idea to change our grocery store to a Home Depot.
