They couldn't believe it was 2 dollhouses, which also included furniture and people. They couldn't wait for center time to take turns and visit that center. \r\nThe dramatic play center has capacity for 4 students, so having two dollhouses was perfect. Every dollhouse had 2 students pretending to be friends and family. They were sharing all the furniture and characters. It was a great opportunity to show kindness and recognize emotions while role playing and pretending to be family. The new classroom materials have been a wonderful improvement to my classroom. It has created opportunities for my students to expand their knowledge and make connections to the real world. They now understand the importance of growing plants. In the garden center they grow the fruits and vegatables that later will be used at the bakery to make pastries. The also sell some of the plants to our own hardware store. The students had the idea to change our grocery store to a Home Depot.
