So many school supplies being donated...just wow! The project you funded for me was a buzzer system for my classroom. I was able to divide up each class into smaller groups and see them collaborate with students they would normally never speak to. Why? Because of the buzzer system...that YOU provided!!!\r\n\r\nThe students would come to class, and as soon as they saw the classroom setup and the system out, they would start to squeal, get extremely excited, and find their seat as quickly as possible to begin. One of our favorite ways of utilizing this system was with a homemade jeopardy game. We created questions and answers along with points, just like jeopardy. When the question popped up the students immediately went into collaboration mode, trying to solve the problem, and trying to be the first to hit the buzzer. In addition, it took all the guesswork out of it for who hit the buzzer first because it would immediately light up and call out which group hit the buzzer first.
