The students were so excited to learn someone cared for them to get them these new supplies. Teachers used the resources during center time and we also included them in our Makerspace Lab. \r\n\r\nThe teachers and the students expressions when they saw the materials was priceless. All were ready to play, learn, create and build. Students looked forward to their turn to come to Makerspace Lab. In our creativity center, students enjoyed using the new tools, playdough mats. They had so much fun reading the fairytale stories and building from the STEM kits. \r\n\r\nOur students are currently finishing up their learning about farm to table. This week they are going to review the plant life cycle and what they need to grow. Our teachers are doing a fun science activity by growing grass seed in a cup. Our students will learn what plants need and see how they change over time. Then we will begin our animal unit and learn about the butterfly life cycle. Providing me with a management system not only helps me, but my teaching assistant, too, as she prepares lesson materials and printables as needed. Everything is now in a labeled, easily accessible location. \r\n\r\nFor our weekly lessons, the paper holder has been invaluable. It houses our materials for each day of the week, as well as our center supplies for the week.
