These resources have already made a meaningful difference in our classroom, especially during testing. The study carrels provide students with a more private and structured environment, helping them minimize distractions and stay focused. With fewer interruptions, students are able to concentrate better and truly show what they know.\r\n\r\nStudents were excited and relieved when they first used the study carrels during assessments. Many shared that having their own quiet space helped them feel calmer and more confident. The graphing paper has also been an essential tool, particularly in math. The grid lines help students neatly organize their work, align numbers correctly, and clearly show each step of their problem-solving process. This has led to fewer errors and stronger overall performance.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, students will continue using these resources throughout the school year for assessments and daily academic work. These accommodations provide equitable access to testing and ensure that students' results reflect their true understanding of the material. The project has been instrumental in developing leadership skills and fostering social and emotional growth among our students. \r\n\r\nOur Kindness Squad is involved in a number of initiatives to support the school community. They assist create welcome kits for newcomers to the school—many of whom are from different countries. These kits help them feel not only welcomed but also valued as part of our school family. It's been wonderful to see how much the newcomers appreciate these thoughtful gestures.\r\n\r\nOne of the students' favorite activities is Positive Welcoming Fridays, where they stand outside and cheer with pom poms and clapper hands, welcoming everyone as they arrive at school.
