As middle schoolers, they are always hungry. They were so happy to enjoy snacks that were provided by donors as they began learning about robotics. They will grow and develop their skills to prepare for a spring robotics competition. Being able to provide snacks as an encouragement to continue learning and developing is vital to the success of our club. \r\nThe Spartans were told that people in our community were the ones that believed in them enough to support them learning about robotics, and provided snacks to help them achieve the goal of gaining enough knowledge to compete in the competition in the spring. The kids were surprised that, \"random\" people as they say, cared about them. \r\nWe love our Spartans, and try to provide as many positive learning experiences as possible. Having the support of Donors Choose is a great motivator for me as a teacher and colleague to seek opportunities to move our low income, at-risk students to additional options for growing and learning.\r\nIt is with sincerest gratitude to all of the donors that made the snacks possible for our Spartans. It may have been a small or simple gesture for some, but for our Spartans it was such a huge gift that adds real and personal value to our Robotics Club.","fullyFundedDate":1727718078891,"projectUrl":"project/robotics-enhancing-schneider/8747078/","projectTitle":"Robotics Enhancing Schneider","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Jamal","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9734830"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_24675","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":520,"numTeachers":59,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":11,"percentWhite":3,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":82,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"5 - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"8.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":59.2,"schoolId":24675,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Rick Schneider Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Rick Schneider Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/pasadena-independent-school-district/rick-schoolneider-middle-school/24675"}
