We received our items and began exploring. We were able to use our dog manipulatives during the theme pets. They created doghouses, dog parks and animal hospitals. They saw their creation and drew it on the white boards with the dry erase markers. We use these daily to help form our target letters of the week, name writing, tally marks and drawing. \r\n\r\nLast year I did research on what my autistic student would enjoy and it was the suction cups. Not only did he enjoy them, all the students wanted to play with them. I made sure to add them to my list and they were a hit. They loved building robots when we discussed living and nonliving things. \r\n\r\nWe truly appreciate you all for pouring into our classroom.
