Students passing by comment on the new color as they; the room has a green hue. Many ask if green is my favorite color (which it is, but not why selected it). It matches our curtains and ties the room together.\r\n\r\nDuring class, it is sufficient light without having to use the few lamps we had relied on to avoid the overhead fluorescent glare. I have had fewer complaints regarding the overhead lights giving students' headaches or eye strain. For me, as I am the one in the same room for the entire day, it had definitely reduced eye strain; my eyes are less \"tired\" at the end of the day.\r\n\r\nIn the future, I might consider changing to a different color to stimulate student interest and provide variety. It is nice to have options and perhaps change the mood again! My students had an 85% pass rate and blew me away two years in a row!
