Before this project, several students didn't have headphones of their own, which made it difficult for them to fully participate. Now, every student can access these tools comfortably and quietly, allowing them to stay focused and work at their own pace. This simple addition has created a calmer, more productive learning environment for everyone.\r\n\r\nAnother exciting change has been the students' renewed enthusiasm for reading. With consistent access to audio features and digital books right in the classroom, students are exploring stories that previously felt out of reach. They love having books available to them—both in print and online—and many are choosing to read independently more often. A few students who used to struggle with confidence in reading have especially embraced the new technology. With the support of the headphones and audio resources, they're engaging with texts more deeply and eagerly volunteering to share what they've learned.\r\n\r\nYour support has not only provided a practical tool but has opened doors for students who needed that extra boost. We were provided with a set gator skin soft throwing balls, a set of play ground balls, and a set of soccer balls. Each set of balls has added to our program in a slightly different way. The Gator balls were the biggest hit with our students. Even after over a month as part of our equipment when I bring the balls out I still hear comments filled with excitement about how nice they are. We use the balls for throwing and catching games primarily. The playground balls are most utilized on the play ground during days of outside play and recess, by two games in particular - Gaga Ball and kickball. In both of those games the students take on leadership roles in small ways during free play time. The soccer balls donation has affected my student and me in particular. We have a handful of students in each grade level that really like soccer, and the number is growing each year. The new balls were especially noted by those folks, their eyes lit up and they were eager to share their skills with a few classmates; some that have had very little contact with soccer. Which led them to ask to have a soccer ball to play with during free time. Personally, when I checked our equipment out at the beginning of the year the soccer balls seemed fine, during our soccer unit however I was having to air the balls up once a week, then a couple of times a week, then a new set of 6 arrived. The timing was a relief.\r\n Thank you again for your giving to our community. The inspirational and music literacy posters have really brightened up the new Intermediate School Bandhall, which no longer has bare walls. The students were very excited to see their transformed music room! The command strips were used to place the posters and decoration without causing damage. The facial tissues and hand wipes allow my students to take care of basic hygiene without needing to leave the classroom, thus saving class time while also cleaning. \r\n\r\nNext week, the beginners will be working on learning the parts of their instruments, and the following week, they will begin playing their instruments: soon after that, they will begin using the tuners and batteries - provided by you - to help make sure they are playing the right pitches properly. Your kindness and generosity have given my students the materials they need to get a great start to the school year in the new bandhall!
