Because of your kindness, our students now have the tools they need to focus, learn, and thrive.\r\n\r\nYour support has already made a meaningful difference. Students are using their academic programs more effectively, and those with special learning needs—such as dyslexia—can access resources like Learning Ally audiobooks with comfort and privacy. For our students who rely on accommodations such as text-to-speech, having high-quality headphones that fit well and function properly means they can focus fully on their classwork and assessments without distraction or discomfort.\r\n\r\nThis may seem like a simple gift, but it is creating a lasting impact. You have given our students not just headphones, but greater confidence, independence, and opportunities to succeed.\r\n\r\nFrom all of us at Thelma Jones Elementary—thank you for believing in our students and investing in their future.","fullyFundedDate":1747142477170,"projectUrl":"project/sound-solutions/9130556/","projectTitle":"Sound Solutions","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Sonzogni","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9931335"},{"teacherId":9120047,"projectId":9087242,"letterContent":"My students have been so thankful to have the new headphones, glue sticks, and rulers! The headphones are great for student learning during independent learning time. They use these for online lessons as well as targeted intervention sessions for math and reading. I service students that receive accommodations for learning which require them to have directions and questions read orally. This is a greeat tool for them! They are able to get real-time feedback and correct mistakes after watching videos, they engage in video lessons and are able to submit comprehension questions on the spot-the opportunities have been so impactful. \r\nThe rulers have been great as the students are currently studying measurement and data in their math curriculum. We were actually able to utilize the rulers during a \"cattle drive\" simulation in which students had to move cattle (marbles) while on horseback (rulers) and cross rivers. They had a great time and it really brought the lesson to life!\r\nGlue sticks have been great to replenish as we use them to glue things into our learning journals all the time in both reading and math!\r\nAgain, thank you for your commitment to my students! I appreciate you and my students are also extremely grateful!","fullyFundedDate":1738291610433,"projectUrl":"project/school-supplies-for-4th-grade/9087242/","projectTitle":"School Supplies for 4th Grade","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Applewhite","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9120047_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1690480122421","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9120047"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_7954","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":409,"numTeachers":33,"percentFrplEligible":67,"percentAsian":15,"percentBlack":44,"percentWhite":8,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":24,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"12.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":55.2,"schoolId":7954,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Thelma Jones Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Thelma Jones Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/mansfield-independent-school-district/thelma-jones-elementary-school/7954"}
