For example, we recently used darts to practice parts of speech, where students earned points for hitting the correct answers on a numbered board. During another activity, Tetris was incorporated to help students organize story elements and improve sequencing skills, and Jenga became a fun way to reinforce vocabulary and comprehension by answering questions correctly before taking a turn. These games transformed reading and writing concepts into interactive experiences, making learning both hands-on and exciting. When students first saw the materials, their faces lit up with curiosity and enthusiasm, and it was wonderful to watch them immediately dive into the activities with energy and focus.\r\n\r\nOne specific moment that stands out was during a recent reading comprehension lesson. Students worked in small groups using Jenga blocks labeled with questions about a story they had just read. As they pulled blocks and answered questions, they not only reinforced their understanding of the text but also practiced collaboration and turn-taking. Thank you so much for supporting our classroom and helping make learning interactive, fun, and meaningful for our students!","fullyFundedDate":1756225193449,"projectUrl":"project/level-up-learning/9522617/","projectTitle":"Level Up Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Tapia","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9580931_orig.jpg?crop=480,480,x0,y126&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1719874786272","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9580931"},{"teacherId":9580931,"projectId":9040444,"letterContent":"My kids are very excited for your sweet donations! We have already started using our stickers and have implemented a sticker war to see who has the most stickers at the end of the six-weeks! They are also loving that they are smelly stickers too.\r\n\r\nWhat they are most excited about is having more Dum Dums to celebrate their accomplishments as well as the sports equipment when we have reward days! This gives them the chance to run, play, and be active together.
