They have enjoyed doing different activities to increase their verticals. They have gained confidence and are gaining the necessary skills that will benefit them now and into their future high school years. When they first saw the new equipment, they were very intrigued and were eager to try it out. Since then, they have been asking when will be their next time to use them. With the tennis balls, they have learned to become better ball handlers and confidently dribble while keeping their heads up and being able to multitask. The poly spots have been a blast as they have been doing some foot skill work and spot shooting and lots of games with them. My next steps will be to continue to push them to excel and gain even more confidence in theirselves and teammates. Thank you so much for investing in our athletes and believing in them! These new books have not only expanded their reading choices but have also deepened their understanding of societal structures, individual freedoms, and ethical dilemmas. Paired with our whole-class novel, The Giver, these texts encouraged students to evaluate the consequences of choices made by both characters and real-world societies.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, reading is an interactive and collaborative experience. Students eagerly gathered in their book club groups, leading discussions, debating characters' decisions, and making connections to the world around them. These books have strengthened their analytical skills, boosted their confidence in discussing complex ideas, and inspired a genuine enthusiasm for literature. Your generosity has provided my advanced students with the challenge and engagement they crave, pushing them to think deeper and broaden their perspectives.\r\n\r\nYour support has truly made a difference, and I cannot thank you enough for investing in my students' learning.
