The 3D block puzzle is a favorite!\r\n\r\nNone of my students had ever tried one of the logic puzzles on paper. We worked through one together one day after we had finished our classwork so that they would understand the concept. One of my sophomore boys, who generally hates math, told me, \"I love math like this! I really want to figure this out!\"\r\n\r\nMy heart was so happy!\r\n\r\nMy junior high students also had fun figuring out the cipher puzzles. The puzzles were just tricky enough to keep my top students thinking while challenging my middle to lower students. \r\n\r\nThank you again for adding these things to my classroom!","fullyFundedDate":1757555171552,"projectUrl":"project/logic-puzzles-and-brain-games-to-keep-st/9638678/","projectTitle":"Logic Puzzles and Brain Games to Keep Students Thinking","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Atwood","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10078175_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752758402406","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10078175"},{"teacherId":10078175,"projectId":9460787,"letterContent":"These x-y coordinate plane boards are amazing! I can have some of my special education students practice plotting individual points while my high flyers can work on graphing functions. The students loved them, and I'm excited to use them for the other grade levels I teach as we get to graphing concepts.","fullyFundedDate":1752795713061,"projectUrl":"project/making-secondary-math-visible/9460787/","projectTitle":"Making Secondary Math Visible","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Atwood","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10078175_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752758402406","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10078175"},{"teacherId":10078175,"projectId":9477041,"letterContent":"We are just now two weeks into the school year, and my tangrams and puzzles are already a hit for my early finishers!\r\n\r\nThe tangram book was an excellent addition to the group of items, because now not only are they able to try to make the perfect square using the seven pieces, but now they have 330 different options that they can build! I may actually order another couple of copies of the book so that more than one student can use it at a time. Also, I'm definitely going to be ordering more puzzles, because those are a huge hit!
