My students were eager to try them very proud when they earned the opportunity. The flexible bands placed on chairs have been even more impactful. These were given to students who struggle most with staying seated and focused, and they have made a noticeable difference. The bands allow students to move their feet and release energy quietly, helping them stay engaged without distracting others.\r\n\r\nSince introducing these resources, I've seen improved attention, fewer disruptions, and greater confidence in students who previously found sitting still challenging. Many students now request the bands because they help them concentrate during lessons. Moving forward, we will continue using the flexible seats as a motivator and the bands as a support during independent work and small-group instruction. One specific moment that stood out was during our writing workshop. Students were able to choose flexible seating that helped them focus, and many chose the new stools right away. One student said, \"I can wiggle a little and still stay focused—it helps me think better!\"\r\n\r\nWhen the stools first arrived, the excitement was real. Students immediately started testing them out, trading places, and talking about how much better they felt sitting on them compared to our older, worn-down chairs. It was a big upgrade, and they noticed right away!\r\n\r\nRight now, we're working on group math rotations, and the stools are a key part of our small group area. Having enough comfortable, movable seating has made transitions smoother and helped students stay focused during independent work.
