We take our binoculars outside for science and oftentimes for recess too. You have helped to take science outside of my classroom. My students are using the binoculars for independent exploration and love the power of controlling their own learning. \r\nThe students were so excited to help me open the box and they instantly wanted to use the new tools. Magnifying glasses were quickly passed out and small things in my classroom became big and the details examined. The next morning we took the binoculars outside and started checking out the birds, trees and weather. \r\n There is no greater joy than watching your students explore and love nature. Your kindness has brought a beloved story into our classroom and made a lasting impact on our students.\r\n\r\nCharlotte's Web is more than just a book—it's a powerful story that teaches important life lessons about friendship, loyalty, compassion, teamwork, and understanding our differences. These are values we work to instill in our classroom every day, and through this story, students are able to see them come to life in a way that's meaningful and accessible.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom is a shared and lively experience. Students read aloud together, ask thoughtful questions, and dive into discussions about the characters and their choices. The excitement around reading Charlotte's Web has been contagious—students are truly invested in Wilbur and Charlotte's journey.\r\n\r\nWhat has been especially heartwarming is how the story has drawn in every student, even those who weren't particularly interested in reading before. It's been amazing to see reluctant readers sit a little taller, raise their hands to read aloud, and ask if we can keep going just a little longer. One student who used to shy away from reading time now proudly volunteers to read in front of the class. Another student shared that she sees her own friendships differently after reading about Charlotte's loyalty and selflessness.\r\n\r\nYour donation has done more than put books in students' hands—it has created a shared experience that builds confidence, empathy, and a genuine love of reading. These moments are the kind that stick with children, and we're so grateful you helped make them possible.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your generosity and support. You've made a real difference in our classroom, and we are truly thankful.","fullyFundedDate":1744417688931,"projectUrl":"project/charlottes-web-books-for-mrs-vicks-se/9249588/","projectTitle":"Charlotte's Web Books for Mrs. Vick's Second Grade Class!!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Vick","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5093953_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1517435905030","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/grateful"},{"teacherId":8725180,"projectId":9239872,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for providing us with such a great book to explore.
