We are using these new resources daily during our math block, especially during small group instruction and independent practice. One powerful moment that stood out was during a problem-solving lesson where students used the materials to model their thinking. Instead of guessing or giving up, they were able to draw representations, explain their reasoning, and truly understand the math. I watched students who typically struggle light up with confidence as they realized, \"I can do this!\"\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, their reactions were priceless. They were excited, curious, and immediately wanted to explore. Many of them said things like, \"This is going to help me!\" or \"Math is going to be fun now!\" That excitement has carried into our lessons—students are more engaged, willing to take risks, and eager to participate.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, we are now taking the next steps in building deeper understanding and preparing for upcoming assessments. Students are continuing to use these resources to tackle multi-step word problems, explain their thinking in complete sentences, and strengthen their problem-solving strategies. We are especially focusing on applying these skills to real-world problems and preparing for STAAR, ensuring that every student feels confident and capable.\r\n\r\nYour contribution has truly made a difference in both the academic growth and confidence of my students. I can't get over the look of excitement from all the students who get to enjoy our new recess equipment! The girls love the jump ropes! Some didn't know how to use them correctly at first but with a few days of practice they finally got the hang of it. The soccer goals are used DAILY by 1st and 2nd graders! So many of the boys like to show off all their cool soccer tricks! We couldn't be more grateful! Thank you to all the donors!
