Because of your generosity, my students now have access to communication cards, coping-skills resources, inclusion activities, reflection tools, journals, and professional learning resources that help strengthen the way we communicate, reflect, and work together. We are using these materials during small-group instruction, inclusion support, guided conversations, role-play, and reflection activities to practice asking for help, clarifying directions, taking turns in dialogue, showing respect during group work, and expressing needs appropriately.\r\n\r\nYour gift has already made a meaningful impact on individual students. Student A connected the project to classroom pride and belonging, sharing that the donations brought \"happiness all around\" and helped make our classroom a better place to work and learn. Student B recognized the value of specialized support, writing that donors gave their \"hard-earned money\" and that the resources \"will not go to waste\" because they help students with learning needs. Student C showed powerful growth by using her communication skills beyond the classroom. After participating in this type of reflection and discussion work, she wrote to campus staff requesting an Autism Awareness Month presentation because she wanted peers to better understand autism, stop using disability-related language as a joke, and help students on the spectrum feel respected and welcome.\r\n\r\nThese moments show that this project was not just about receiving supplies. It helped students understand that their voices, learning needs, and growth are worth investing in. Our next step is to continue using these resources in classroom discussions, role-play scenarios, journal reflections, and collaborative learning activities so students can keep building empathy, self-advocacy, respectful communication, and confidence.
