Your generosity has already had a meaningful impact on both my teaching and my students' learning. The greenery, organizational tools, and headphones you helped provide have not only brightened our space but also energized the learning process in ways that I could not have accomplished without your help.\r\n\r\nWhen the students walked in and saw the greenery for the first time, their eyes lit up with excitement. It might seem like a small addition, but those touches of warmth and nature have transformed our classroom into a welcoming, inviting environment. A hospitable space is so important to facilitate learning. Helping me to create a calm and welcoming space helps to increase students' willingness to engage. Although the organizational tools for Expo markers is somewhat less glamorous, it makes everything and everyone feel as though they have a place. I'm able to get around the room and facilitated discussions and answer questions, rather than trying to find the right color or replacing dried-out markers. It may seem small, but those saved minutes have made it a more productive learning environment If I'm organized, students are more likely to mimic this organization. \r\n\r\nThe headphones, have made the most direct impact on student learning. They have given my students the ability to truly \"lock in\" and concentrate. In our classroom, students often benefit from listening to music while they work, as it helps them block out distractions and create their own focused zone. Additionally, the headphones have been instrumental in helping students prepare for their upcoming oral exams in March. Not only are they able to practice listening back to their own recordings, but they can also evaluate their classmates' oral responses in a more private and concentrated way. This ability to listen attentively, reflect, and refine is a critical part of the preparation process, and it has elevated the quality of their practice sessions.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you for making this possible. Your kindness has created real, tangible change in the lives of my students. Every day, I see the difference in their faces, their confidence, and their excitement to learn. Your contribution is not just about supplies—it is about empowering students to grow, to succeed, and to feel \r\nproud of themselves.\r\n\r\nThank you so much\r\nMs. Womack","fullyFundedDate":1755713497695,"projectUrl":"project/inclusive-environment-for-all-learners/9580282/","projectTitle":"Inclusive Environment for All Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Womack","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9594442_orig.jpg?crop=100,100,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1727570248362","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9594442"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_8896","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1999,"numTeachers":119,"percentFrplEligible":25,"percentAsian":28,"percentBlack":11,"percentWhite":32,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":22,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"16.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":84.2,"schoolId":8896,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Frisco High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Frisco High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/frisco-independent-school-district/frisco-high-school/8896"}
