Your generosity brought joy, curiosity, and hands-on learning to our students in ways that truly matter.\r\nWhen my 5th graders first saw the new STEM kits, LEGO sets, and science tools, their reactions were priceless. One student gasped, \"¿Podemos construir una montaña rusa de verdad?\" while another immediately started sketching ideas for. My students were eager to explore, build, and learn.\r\nWe've been using these materials to deepen our understanding of force, motion, and engineering. During our roller coaster challenge, students worked in bilingual teams to design and test their own coasters. They measured speed, adjusted angles, and recorded data using the scientific method. These projects have helped make abstract science concepts concrete and accessible for all learners.\r\nThe snack cart you helped fund has also made a big impact. In our Title I setting, it's more than just snacks, it's a way to ensure every child feels cared for and ready to learn. Students know they can grab a healthy option when they need it, and it's helped improve focus and classroom morale.\r\nNext, we're launching a \"Bridge Builders\" challenge where students will apply what they've learned to construct weight-bearing bridges. They'll work through each step of the scientific method, collaborate in bilingual groups, and reflect on their process through writing and discussion. These experiences are building not just academic skills, but confidence, teamwork, and a love of learning.\r\nGracias por creer en nuestros estudiantes.
