Your support has made a meaningful impact on our students and our learning environment.\r\n\r\nThe books have become classroom favorites and help our young learners make real-world connections between stories and the plants they see growing in our garden. The worm compost bin has sparked endless curiosity—our students love checking on the worms and learning how food scraps turn into \"garden gold.\"\r\n\r\nOur new pots and pans have transformed the mud kitchen into a busy place of creativity and pretend play. The children are \"cooking\" up garden soups and dirt pies daily, using their imaginations and teamwork skills. The toaster oven has also been an exciting addition, allowing us to cook and taste vegetables harvested from our garden—a delicious way to celebrate our hard work!\r\n\r\nWith these materials, our garden has truly become an extension of our classroom. The students are learning responsibility, curiosity, and a love of nature—one seed, worm, and pretend meal at a time.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in our little learners and helping us grow something wonderful together!","fullyFundedDate":1752363651650,"projectUrl":"project/growing-minds-in-the-garden-and-classroo/9315920/","projectTitle":"Growing Minds in the Garden and Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Peterson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6561112_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1574526705825","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6561112"},{"teacherId":8954663,"projectId":7181368,"letterContent":"Your donation helped to create color visual vocabulary for our deaf and hard of hearing students. They paired up and tested each other and we created division games to play with by using our tools. Most importantle, they now have a tool to help them with their long division!!\r\nHaving this tool is an error free way for them to check their work. Often, while doing long division, students are unsure if they are coming up with the correct quotient, because they think they are doing the procedure incorrectly, which often causes them to struggle. Now, they are able to confidently see they are correctly coming up with the correct quotient, which allows them to continue working and get more practice! \r\nThese tools will be utilized by all of my students this year and in years to come!
