The hot Cheetos and Taquis are a big hit with our older students. These snacks are a wonderful reward to keep our students reading during the nationwide reading crisis. It is surprising that students at a Title 1 elementary school do not have balls and jump ropes for recess. At most schools students bring their own balls and items to play with at recess. Unfortunately, our students do not come with athletic equipment for recess. It is wonderful that two classes will now be rewarded with a set of playground equipment for their reading successes. \r\nAt M H Moore we are fortunate to have an online library. It is easy to pull up the minutes students have spent reading and we decided to reward the top reading classes with this fun set of equipment. So each class will have seven balls and fourteen jump ropes to play with at recess. We do have a field for soccer and a basketball court. Thank you again.
