We've been using the snacks during small-group instruction, after long lessons, and as a simple way to make sure no child is learning on an empty stomach.\r\n\r\nOne moment that really stood out was the day the snacks arrived. My students' faces lit up the second they saw the boxes. They were shocked, excited, and genuinely thankful. Some of them immediately started talking about their favorite flavors, while others quietly said, \"Thank you\" because they knew this meant they wouldn't have to worry about being hungry during class anymore.\r\n\r\nThese snacks have truly made a difference—students are more comfortable, more focused, and more motivated during lessons. Your kindness has created a warm, welcoming environment where every child feels cared for.\r\n\r\nThank you again for supporting our classroom and our kids. Your generosity has made our days brighter in the most meaningful way.","fullyFundedDate":1763490194515,"projectUrl":"project/no-child-should-have-to-learn-on-an-empt/9897640/","projectTitle":"No Child Should Have to Learn on an Empty Stomach","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Malik","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7449622"},{"teacherId":7449622,"projectId":9515476,"letterContent":"When our new whiteboards and Expo markers arrived, the excitement in the classroom was immediate! My students couldn't wait to start using them. The first time I brought them out, there were smiles, cheers, and even a few \"Can I go first?\" calls. It was wonderful to see how something as simple as fresh markers and clean boards could spark so much enthusiasm for learning.\r\n\r\nWe've been using the whiteboards daily for interactive lessons. One of our favorite activities so far has been our \"All boards up,\" where students work on their boards to solve multi-step problems on their boards and race to show their work. The energy in the room is incredible — students are more engaged, eager to explain their reasoning, and even helping each other correct mistakes in real time.\r\n\r\n\r\nOur next step is to use the boards for a collaborative science project, where students will sketch and label parts of their ecosystem models before building them. I can already see how these tools are helping my students think, share, and learn together in a more hands-on way.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for making this possible — your generosity has truly made our classroom a more creative and engaging place to learn!","fullyFundedDate":1762267697885,"projectUrl":"project/empower-students-to-engage-in-a-variety/9515476/","projectTitle":"Empower Students to Engage in a Variety of Learning Strategies","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Malik","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7449622"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_134235","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":null,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":null,"percentAsian":26,"percentBlack":26,"percentWhite":12,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":25,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":false,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Not specified","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR District Record","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":60.0,"schoolId":134235,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Allen Aldridge Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Allen Aldridge Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/fort-bend-independent-school-district/allen-aldridge-elementary-school/134235"}
