The snacks and supplies you provided have made an immediate and meaningful difference in our daily routines and in the way my students engage with their work.\r\n\r\nThe snacks have become an essential part of our afternoon learning block. Many of my students come back from lunch with long stretches of learning still ahead, and having a healthy snack available helps them stay focused and ready to participate. The supplies, especially the area rug, bean bag chair and organizational materials have already supported several hands-on activities. Last week, for example, we used the new materials for a collaborative group project where students were able to whiteboard to show their understanding of our current unit. Students are more detailed and organized than ever before, and they are so proud of their progress.\r\n\r\nWith these new supplies, students will be using the materials to create independent and group presentations, interactive journals, and hands-on demonstrations of what they're learning. The snacks will continue to fuel them as they work through these longer, more challenging tasks. Your support doesn't just fill our shelves—it strengthens our momentum as we tackle bigger and more creative projects throughout the year.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving my students the tools—and the confidence—they need to thrive. Your kindness has left a lasting impact on our classroom community, and we are truly grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1755721714834,"projectUrl":"project/science-in-action-hands-on-learning-for/9518567/","projectTitle":"Science in Action: Hands-On Learning for Curious Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ingram","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7883326_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1693004088012","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7883326"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_9061","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":656,"numTeachers":51,"percentFrplEligible":63,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":55,"percentWhite":14,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":21,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"7 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"12.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":81.8,"schoolId":9061,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Brown Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Brown Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/forney-independent-school-district/brown-middle-school/9061"}
