The rug has expanded our calming area, giving students a comfortable and inviting space to reset, refocus, or engage in quiet reflection when needed. It has also made our small-group area more welcoming for discussions and collaborative learning. The dry-erase markers have been just as impactful, providing students with reliable tools to clearly show their thinking during lessons. When the materials first arrived, the students were so excited. Many immediately noticed the rug and rushed to sit on it, and several were thrilled to finally have fresh markers that worked well. Their reactions made it clear how much these simple resources meant to them. Moving forward, we will continue building on our current math lessons as we strengthen fraction skills and deepen algebraic thinking. If they like historical fiction, romance, or non-fiction, then they picked one of those books. This allowed them the freedom to get a book that reflected their choices and desires. \r\n\r\nThank you for helping make this happen. You can see the difference in multiple of the high stress students that now visit weekly to every other day.
