The new balls and training gear have allowed us to run more structured drills, focus on footwork, and build confidence in our newer players without worrying about not having enough materials. One of my favorite moments was watching a group of students create their own \"mini-tournament\" using the cones and goals—they were so excited to put their skills into action. \r\n\r\nThe reaction was priceless. When the students walked in and saw all the new soccer equipment laid out, the room exploded. They were picking up the new balls, testing them out, and asking, \"Is this really for us?\" Their excitement turned into motivation—they were eager to practice, eager to improve, and proud that people believed in them enough to invest in their team. They were so excited they stayed after school to help me build the two soccer goals provided from you.\r\n\r\nRight now, our next goal is to apply the skills we've been practicing into more competitive scrimmages. We're also working on teamwork, communication, and game strategy. With the new resources, we're planning to introduce small-sided games where every student has more chances to touch the ball and grow their confidence. With the excitement from the students, it transpired into some of the female students and they are now wanting to create a Girls Soccer team for the next season. These next steps will help us prepare for our upcoming school soccer events and build strong fundamentals for future seasons.","fullyFundedDate":1756092764118,"projectUrl":"project/kicking-for-success/9501171/","projectTitle":"Kicking for Success","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Johnson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9503595_orig.jpg?crop=311,311,x0,y36&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753477748435","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9503595"},{"teacherId":7026462,"projectId":7037017,"letterContent":"When the items arrived from our class project, A Classroom is a House for Learning, my students were overjoyed! Their faces lit up. They were too eager to use them all. The number line math activity chart was used to help the students add and subtract. It was placed in our math center and they were able to use the frogs to find the sums and differences in various math problems. The turn-in-your-work organizer and the store -it-all rotating caddy helped with the organization of the classroom. The students were able to turn in their assignments without assistance due to the labeled containers on the work organizer. The Help-Yourself Book Bins were used during independent reading time. The students were able to choose a book of their choice on their reading level and place it back in the correct bin without any assistance from the teacher. You helped them become independent learners! The sentence strips, highlighter tape and pencil grips were placed in the literacy/writing center. The students were able to utilize the pencil grips if they had difficulty holding their pencils correctly. The highlighter tape was used to help them segment words when learning to read.\r\nThese items have been vital to our classroom education. They will continue to assist my students in the years to come as well.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your generous heart.
