The timers have been more helpful than I initially thought they were going to be. It turns out a lot of my students have anxiety when they see the timer displayed on the Promethean board. By having these small timer available, it allows the kids to not stress about how much time they have left in order to get their work done. It has also been helpful in the calming corner where students are able to just push the timer themselves and then go back to their desk without being told. The whiteboards and markers are items that the students absolutely love. On the days that we use them they are really always super excited. The document camera has also been extremely helpful. It allows me to show the students exactly what to write and where to write it, whereas when I was writing on the Promethean board, it was on a blank whiteboard and I was trying to explain to the students where to write it on their paper. The document camera, makes class runs smoother. And finally, the privacy folders, have allowed me to see each students progress, and I am able to help them individually to know what exactly that student needs.\r\nMy class and I greatly appreciate your donations and thoughtfulness.","fullyFundedDate":1757682341822,"projectUrl":"project/rug-camera-erase/9675930/","projectTitle":"Rug! The class set of headphones has allowed my students to fully engage with our online math programs and independent practice activities without distractions. The pencils and copy paper may seem simple, but they are essential tools that ensure every student is prepared to participate in lessons, practice problem-solving, and show their work during math activities.Having the right materials for every student created a smooth and productive learning environment.\r\nWhen my students first saw the new headphones, there was a wave of excitement. Several of them mentioned how much easier it would be to focus without background noise, and many were thrilled to have their own materials without needing to borrow or share. Their reactions showed me just how impactful these supplies really are in giving them a sense of ownership and readiness to learn.\r\nWe are currently moving into multi-step word problems in math, where students will use the headphones to access guided practice and interactive lessons online while also working out solutions on paper. These resources will continue to support our goal of building independence and confidence in math, while ensuring that all students—regardless of background—have equal access to the tools they need to succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1746785607710,"projectUrl":"project/3rd-grade-math-class-supplies/9100675/","projectTitle":"3rd Grade Math Class Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Zapata","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8630688_orig.jpg?crop=1169,1170,x0,y202&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1741202378924","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8630688"},{"teacherId":8630688,"projectId":6711214,"letterContent":"On behalf of my 3rd-grade class, I want to express our deepest gratitude for your generous donation of headphones and STEM supplies.
