The new supplies have given Freddy the space and care he needs to grow and flourish, and my preschoolers have loved being part of his journey.\r\n\r\nThe first time the children saw Freddy's updated tank, their eyes lit up with excitement. They rushed over to observe him swimming, asked thoughtful questions, and couldn't wait for their turn to gently hold him. Caring for Freddy has become a meaningful part of our daily routine, helping students build responsibility, kindness, and respect for living things.\r\n\r\nFreddy has also become an important part of our science lessons. The children observe his behaviors, compare him to other animals, and learn about habitats, life cycles, and the needs of living creatures. They enjoy drawing pictures of Freddy, sharing stories about him, and discussing what they notice each day.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our learning, Freddy will help us explore even more science concepts through observation, inquiry, and hands-on experiences. The timers have been more helpful than I initially thought they were going to be. It turns out a lot of my students have anxiety when they see the timer displayed on the Promethean board. By having these small timer available, it allows the kids to not stress about how much time they have left in order to get their work done. It has also been helpful in the calming corner where students are able to just push the timer themselves and then go back to their desk without being told. The whiteboards and markers are items that the students absolutely love. On the days that we use them they are really always super excited. The document camera has also been extremely helpful. It allows me to show the students exactly what to write and where to write it, whereas when I was writing on the Promethean board, it was on a blank whiteboard and I was trying to explain to the students where to write it on their paper. The document camera, makes class runs smoother. And finally, the privacy folders, have allowed me to see each students progress, and I am able to help them individually to know what exactly that student needs.\r\nMy class and I greatly appreciate your donations and thoughtfulness.","fullyFundedDate":1757682341822,"projectUrl":"project/rug-camera-erase/9675930/","projectTitle":"Rug!
