I organized after-school and week workdays, guided students in planting native species, and modeled how to integrate hands-on science and literacy connections through TEKS-aligned lessons. Additionally, I mentored teachers on using the garden and outdoor learning as a living classroom to promote inquiry, data collection, and reflective writing.\r\nThis co-curricular initiative resulted in significant improvements in student achievement and engagement.
