The students were so happy and curious when I brought the materials out. I placed them in the center of the room and let them gather round and investigate before we broke into our groups. They could hardly wait to get started!\r\nand development.\r\n\r\nThe Scholastic News magazines have kept them informed with current events and encouraged critical thinking. Students have enjoyed many meaningful discussions with their classmates on relevant social issues and broadening their perspective on the world and their place in it.\r\n \r\nEven students who are slow to engage in the classroom found something that they enjoyed due to the interactive, hands-on activities. These materials have helped to transform my students learning experience and enhanced their understanding of basic scientific concepts. The interactive nature of the materials encourages students natural curiosity and helps in the retention of information. \r\n\r\nThese resources allowed students to connect with more abstract concepts and make them easier to understand. Students became excited and curious participants rather than disinterested observers. They were given the opportunity to test scientific concepts and develop critical thinking skills while engrossed in enjoyable, hands-on activities.
