Through activities such as cutting, coloring, painting, and assembling projects, students practiced important skills while expressing themselves in an engaging and fun way. The materials allowed my students of varying ability levels to participate successfully and take pride in their accomplishments.\r\n\r\n\r\nThe project also helped strengthen social and emotional growth in the classroom. Students worked alongside their peers, shared materials, followed directions, and celebrated each other's creations. Many students demonstrated increased confidence as they completed projects independently or with minimal support. The opportunity to create something unique gave students a sense of ownership and achievement that carried over into other classroom activities.\r\n\r\nThanks to the generosity of our donors, my students had access to high-quality art supplies that enriched their educational experience. The arts and crafts activities encouraged problem-solving, decision-making, and self-expression while making learning enjoyable. This project created a positive and inclusive environment where every student could succeed, and the skills they developed will continue to benefit them both academically and personally.","fullyFundedDate":1753974112904,"projectUrl":"project/creative-hands-and-bright-minds/9461805/","projectTitle":"Creative Hands and Bright Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Deeds","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9057530_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y77&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1750982563810","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9057530"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_15681","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":567,"numTeachers":30,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":14,"percentWhite":20,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":51,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":7,"percentMultiracialImputed":5,"gradesServed":"K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"18.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":68.5,"schoolId":15681,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Jose Antonio Navarro Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Jose Antonio Navarro Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/corsicana-independent-school-district/jose-antonio-navarro-elementary-school/15681"}
