I was so worried, though I quickly understood that I actually had a gift given to me, where little by little, more fun things were added. My students come in each day to new things almost daily. Small little improvements here or there as I figure out what I am doing. It's such a fun and dynamic classroom. It was thrilling receiving these gifts, and as I look around, I see these small pieces that make a large difference: lots of playdoh and molds, a cute mailbox that we get to play with each morning for our letter of the day or word of the week, bubbles, a nice set of puzzles, and plenty of squishies for these sensory-desirous students! What fun it has been, and I am so thankful for the support of you.","fullyFundedDate":1756908831688,"projectUrl":"project/first-year-sped-teacher/9525574/","projectTitle":"First-Year SPED Teacher","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Crouse","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10105013"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_16673","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":597,"numTeachers":44,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":13,"percentWhite":7,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":78,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"13.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":87.8,"schoolId":16673,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Houston Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Houston Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/conroe-independent-school-district/houston-elementary-school/16673"}
