My students get so excited when it is their turn to use it, and I have seen incredible growth in both their learning and confidence. They use it to practice important skills through Khan Academy Kids and other educational games, but they also get to be creative and bring their ideas to life. Apps like Maker and ChatterPix allow them to create their own stories, and it is amazing to watch them light up as they hear their creations come alive.\r\n\r\nUnfortunately, the Osmo program we originally hoped to use does not support this particular iPad. However, I have been able to find many other creative and educational ways to use it in our classroom, and the students absolutely love it. It has become an important part of our reading stations, and the excitement when it is someone's turn to use it is contagious.\r\n\r\nThe iPad has also made a big difference in how I support my students academically. I use it for assessments like MCLASS, which helps make testing smoother and quicker for my students. It also allows me to easily review their scores and progress so I can better meet each child where they are in their learning journey. One of the most joyful parts has been seeing how much my students love storytelling. They especially enjoy using ChatterPix to make pictures \"talk.\" I even added pictures of my own cats to the iPad, and the students absolutely love turning them into silly storytellers that talk to the class. Moments like these fill our classroom with laughter while still building important speaking and reading skills.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for supporting our classroom.
