With the Code 'n' Go Mouse, students are learning foundational programming skills, such as sequencing, logic, and problem-solving, by guiding the mouse through mazes and challenges. \r\n\r\nWhat excites our students most about the Code 'n' Go Mouse is its ability to bring their commands to life. This immediate feedback reinforces critical thinking and perseverance, as students iterate on their strategies to achieve success. Students are also developing collaboration and communication skills by working in pairs or small groups, sharing ideas, and solving problems together. Overall, the Code 'n' Go Mouse has sparked curiosity, engagement, and a love for learning that extends beyond coding itself.","fullyFundedDate":1754967822134,"projectUrl":"project/codin-in-the-library/9535247/","projectTitle":"Codin' in the Library","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Senerchia","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4562346_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1500606296924","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-senerchia"},{"teacherId":10083672,"projectId":9477028,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous support, our classroom now has a beautiful new rug that has already become the heart of our learning space. Students gather there daily. Whether it's to listen to whole-class phonics instruction, enjoy a read-aloud together, or relax with a book after finishing their assignments. The rug has created a comfortable, welcoming spot where learning feels special and connected.\r\n\r\nWhen the rug first arrived, my students' reactions were priceless. They gasped, smiled, and immediately asked if we could sit together on it for our next story. Several students said it felt like having our own \"reading corner\" that made the classroom feel more like home.\r\n\r\nSince then, the rug has been the center of many meaningful moments: from practicing science experiments and observations as a group, to gathering in a circle to celebrate classmates' birthdays by singing \"Feliz Cumpleaños/Happy Birthday.\" It has quickly turned into the space where we come together not only for academics but also to build our classroom community, nuestra familia.\r\n\r\nNext, as we continue our units in reading and science, students will use this space to share their ideas, practice discussion skills, and support one another's learning. This rug is more than just a classroom resource, it has become a place where memories are made, and where students feel a true sense of belonging.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving us this gift.
