Your support has provided us with more than just supplies; you've provided the tools for discovery.\r\n\r\nWe are currently using these materials to bridge the gap between imagination and engineering. A highlight from this week was learning about how gears work in our library Makerspace. Students learned that they could build both vertically and horizontally! Because of your gift, my students aren't just playing; they are thinking like structural engineers.\r\n\r\nThe reaction when we first unboxed the materials was pure magic. Seeing their faces light up made it clear that having high-quality, tactile resources makes them feel that their education and their curiosity are truly important.\r\n\r\nThank you for being a vital part of our learning community and for investing in the next generation of innovators.","fullyFundedDate":1765221428920,"projectUrl":"project/building-bots-for-pre-k-through-second-g/9941357/","projectTitle":"Building Bots for Pre-K through Second grade MakerSpace","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hebert","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10342924_orig.png?crop=832,832,x208,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1764708146258","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10342924"},{"teacherId":10342924,"projectId":9878114,"letterContent":"Walking into our school library has always been an adventure, but thanks to your generosity, it has officially become a launchpad for innovation. Your contribution to our Library Makerspace has fundamentally changed how our students—from our youngest Pre-K explorers to our 5th-grade leaders—approach learning.\r\n\r\nWe are currently using the new materials to tackle Makerspace challenges. Particular favorites are the Lego bricks and magnet tiles. Students are tasked with using engineering principles to solve problems or answer seasonal challenges. Seeing students across different grade levels learn to collaborate to solve a single engineering problem has been the highlight of my semester.\r\n\r\nThe reaction to the new materials was nothing short of electric. When the boxes arrived in the library, word spread fast! One of my second graders said \"I've been waiting for this day!\" They love to build and explore!\r\n\r\nOur next big project is a \"Community Solutions\" challenge. Students will identify a problem a fictional character faces in a book we've read—like needing a way to cross a river or move a heavy object—and they will use the Makerspace materials to prototype a solution. This will help them bridge the gap between literacy and engineering, proving that they have the tools and the talent to solve any challenge that comes their way.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our students and for turning our library into a place where dreams are built.\r\n\r\nWith sincere thanks,","fullyFundedDate":1764608474508,"projectUrl":"project/empowering-young-creators-in-the-library/9878114/","projectTitle":"Empowering Young Creators in the Library Makerspace!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hebert","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10342924_orig.png?crop=832,832,x208,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1764708146258","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10342924"},{"teacherId":1041313,"projectId":9092131,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for helping to bring this much needed toner to our hive ! Your donation has made a tremendous impact on my little Busy Bees and their learning. The Teacher Pay Teacher gift cards have allowed me the opportunity to purchase sets of instructional materials and curriculum extensions that will provide my little Busy Bees with much needed resources and tools to be successful in the classroom. With your support, I have been able to purchase phonics, math, and intervention resources to help my struggling students who are struggling with letter/sound identification, number identification, counting, and CVC words. I have been able to buy and print so many games for students to learn and explore topics in a meaningful and hands-on way. All of these activities would not have been possible without your generosity and support! The pictures that are posted are of some of the the resources from the TpT site that I was able to purchase using the gift cards. Thanks to your contribution, I have been able to provide sensory tools and resources to over 15 students and several general education teachers on our campus.\r\n\r\nThe impact of your donation has been profound. For many of our students, these tools have been life-changing. Sensory toys and resources provide them with the ability to regulate their emotions, focus their attention, and find a sense of calm in a world that can often feel overwhelming.\r\n\r\nBeyond individual support, your gift also allowed me to create sensory corners in classrooms. These designated safe spaces have given students a quiet place to retreat and self-regulate, preventing emotional outbursts and promoting a more positive learning environment for everyone.\r\n\r\nYour belief in our students' potential is truly making a difference.
