My students have much difficulty with keeping themselves organized and having the baskets that are sturdy and can hold all of their things as they travel from room to room as made a world of difference. They can keep folders in it, their school chromebook, a library book and their pencil pouches. This has kept them from losing things on a daily basis which helps so much in teaching when you aren't having to provide one thing or another because it is lost. The baskets have been so much better than what we had before. I am so thankful for the generosity that gave my students this gift.\r\n\r\nAnother thing that has made a world of difference has been the headphones that were able to be purchased with this project. My students come from families that cannot afford the extra things that are required for school which includes a pair of headphones for the technology we so often use. These headphones have been wonderful and are so comfortable that the students don't even complain about using them when they don't have their own pair. I so appreciate being able to provide these for my students. \r\n\r\nThere is one of my items in the project that I have to admit I would not recommend to others. They are the fidget bands for the chairs. The bands became a nuisance and the students would play with them and when using them made way too much noise as they would often snap them. So even though I appreciate the generosity in fulfilling this project including these bands, I don't recommend them to other teachers. If there was a different variety that didn't make the noise and maybe were of a better quality it might work because the students liked them, it was just the nuisance and noise factor that caused the issues. The impact that Donors choose has had has been tremendous and really makes a difference for teachers in providing all that the schools cannot provide.
