These items may seem small, but for many of my students they have already made a huge difference in their confidence and comfort throughout the school day.\r\n\r\nThe first time my students saw the cart, they were so excited—they couldn't believe that someone cared enough about them to make sure they had what they needed. A few students immediately came up to quietly grab what they needed before class started, and the relief on their faces spoke volumes. One student even said, \"This is so nice—it feels like someone thought about us.\" Moments like that remind me that learning happens best when students feel safe, cared for, and respected.\r\n\r\nWe are now using the care cart daily. Students know they can discreetly get what they need without embarrassment or missing out on class time. This has already minimized distractions and helped students stay focused on their lessons, whether we are practicing Spanish vocabulary, preparing for presentations, or working in groups.\r\n\r\nNext, my students are moving into a unit where they will be creating cultural projects that require teamwork and public speaking. Having their basic needs met helps ensure they feel more confident and comfortable participating in front of their peers. Your generosity has truly empowered them to focus on learning and growing, and for that, I—and they—are so grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1748435928993,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-care-cart/9323649/","projectTitle":"Classroom Care Cart","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Barnett","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10018264"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_93084","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":562,"numTeachers":42,"percentFrplEligible":79,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":6,"percentWhite":54,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":35,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 10","studentTeacherRatio":"13.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":58.3,"schoolId":93084,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Innovation Academy Robertson County on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Innovation Academy Robertson County","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/tennessee/robertson-county-school-district/springfield-middle-school/93084"}
