I thought I had submitted my Impact Letter as scheduled. My scholars received numerous titles from working with fractions to organizing their finances in middle school. They were excited to think someone would donate to such a cause.\r\n\r\nAt the end of the year, students were able to pick out a selection for their personal library. This was epic! Some were able to choose two or more. Many of these were Hispanic and they had never had books of their own. These books were cherished by each student who received them. This made my heart glad.\r\n\r\nAs a child, I loved books and read all the time. This is how I developed a love for language, for writing and for reading and this love was passed on to all of my children and now my sons are passing their love of reading and writing to their children. My daughters are not married yet, but they still love reading.\r\n\r\nMy youngest daughter is studying Journalism, English and Graphic Art Design!
