Because of your kindness, cooking has truly come to life in our classroom.\r\n\r\nWith the aprons, cutting boards, child-safe cutting tools, measuring items, and bowls you helped provide, our students have been able to engage in meaningful, joyful learning experiences that go far beyond the table. These materials have allowed children to explore cooperation, early math skills, language development, and creativity in ways that are authentic and memorable.\r\n\r\nSo far, our students have created a Friendship Fruit Salad as a Thanksgiving activity to celebrate gratitude and friendship. The cutting boards also became the foundation for building gingerbread houses and gingerbread men, turning a holiday tradition into a hands-on learning experience filled with teamwork and excitement.\r\n\r\nWe are incredibly thankful for the opportunities your support has already made possible, and we are equally excited for what lies ahead. In the spring semester, students will use these materials for activities such as Stone Soup, edible garden treats, and end-of-the-year shareable projects that bring friendships and learning together.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has helped create experiences that nourish both growing minds, bellies, and hearts.
