I teach close to 50 students throughout three different class periods each day. During each block, we take a short break to enjoy a snack, recharge our energy, and spend a little time socializing with classmates. Since our school is located on a reservation and money is tight for many families, having a dependable supply of classroom snacks has made a meaningful difference. The snacks help students feel cared for, comfortable, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nI will never forget the excitement on my students' faces when the snacks were delivered to our classroom. They could hardly believe how many boxes had arrived! They especially enjoy being able to choose which snack they would like each day. One of my favorite moments is watching students talk, laugh, and learn more about one another during our snack break. Many students arrive at school feeling tired, and the snacks have helped them become more alert and focused throughout the day.\r\n\r\nAfter our snack break, students return to our reading and word study lessons with renewed energy. Our next steps are to continue building reading stamina, strengthening vocabulary skills, and becoming more confident readers. Because of your generosity, students can focus more fully on learning instead of feeling hungry or tired. Although the stacking cups we originally requested were unavailable, we were grateful for the opportunity to select replacement resources that could still make a meaningful difference in our PE program\\. We replaced the unavailable items with a **JBL speaker, a large equipment wagon/cart, an Instax Mini camera, a counting clicker, and small storage containers**\\. These resources may be different from what we originally planned, but they have become incredibly useful tools that help make our PE lessons more organized, exciting, and memorable for our students\\.\r\n\r\nThe **JBL speaker** has brought new energy into our gym\\. Music is now an important part of many of our activities, games, warm\\-ups, movement challenges, and fitness exercises\\. It helps create an exciting atmosphere and encourages students to stay active and participate\\. The **large wagon/cart** has also made a huge difference in how we prepare for our lessons\\. PE activities often require many pieces of equipment, and before having the wagon, transporting and organizing everything needed for a game could be challenging\\. Now, I can easily gather balls, cones, hoops, spots, and other materials and move them around the gym or activity area all at once\\. This allows me to spend less time carrying and setting up equipment and more time focusing on teaching and engaging with my students\\. The **small storage containers** also help keep smaller PE materials organized and ready for use, making transitions between activities smoother and more efficient\\.\r\n\r\nAnother exciting addition is our **Instax Mini camera**\\. It allows me to capture special moments of students being active, working together, trying new skills, and demonstrating teamwork in the gym\\. These instant photos are more than just pictures—they are reminders of students' accomplishments and positive experiences in PE\\. Seeing themselves participating and succeeding helps students feel proud and creates lasting memories of their learning\\. We can also use these pictures in our PE displays and bulletin boards to celebrate student participation, teamwork, and progress\\. The **counting clicker** may be a small tool, but it is extremely helpful during fitness activities, running challenges, repetitions, games, and other activities where accurate counting is important\\. It allows me to track student participation and performance quickly while still giving my attention to the class\\.\r\n\r\nWhen our students saw the new resources, they were excited and curious about how we would use them\\. The music immediately brought energy to the gym, while the camera added another level of excitement because students knew their active moments and achievements could be captured and celebrated\\. These resources have helped create an environment where PE feels organized, energetic, and fun\\.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using these materials throughout different PE units and activities\\. My goal is to create lessons where students are excited to move, work together, challenge themselves, and develop healthy habits\\. We will continue capturing their progress, celebrating their successes, and using music to make movement enjoyable\\.\r\n\r\nTo everyone who supported **Stacking Up Success**, thank you for making this possible\\. Even though our project changed from its original plan, your generosity still found its way into our gym in a meaningful way\\. Every song played, every piece of equipment transported, every activity counted, and every happy moment captured is possible because you chose to invest in our students\\. **Thank you for helping us stack up success—one movement, one smile, and one active moment at a time\\!**","fullyFundedDate":1778124894955,"projectUrl":"project/stacking-up-success/9991121/","projectTitle":"Stacking Up Success!","teacherDisplayName":"Coach RoAn De Luna","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10240118_orig.jpg?crop=504,504,x27,y108&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756935716493","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10240118"},{"teacherId":10240118,"projectId":9985058,"letterContent":"Our Small Strings, Big Dreams project has brought so much excitement and joy to our students.
