Your support has made a tangible difference in the daily lives of our students and has greatly improved our ability to provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.\r\nWe wanted to share how your donations are specifically making an impact:\r\nThe kids absolutely love the \"I Spy\" books! They have been a fantastic tool for helping to reduce anxiety during their time in the office. \r\nThe stickers serve as a great incentive and brighten the students' day.\r\nThe hair accessories, combs, and brushes promote better body image and hygiene practices, which helps to increase students' self-esteem. The fun colors allow the students to pick their favorite color for their very own hairbrush to use throught out the school year.\r\nTooth boxes are fun additions that allow students to have a positive experience when visiting the health office; . Students are excited to show off their tooth box and new smile.\r\nThe provision of the bulletin boards takes a huge burden off of me as I work to make the health office feel like a welcoming and safe space for everyone. I am excited to put up my winter one, but have been told by others to wait until the snow flies since our fall weather has been beautiful.\r\nLastly, my personal favorite office addition, the label maker. This has been incredibly helpful in keeping the office organized and running efficiently. I think other staff may feel I am labelling too many things. \r\nYour kindness has a direct positive impact on student well-being. We are incredibly grateful for your partnership in keeping our school community healthy and happy.","fullyFundedDate":1755708271248,"projectUrl":"project/the-healthy-haven/9437724/","projectTitle":"The Healthy Haven","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Nurse Kandy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10066016_orig.png?crop=186,186,x0,y15&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1762788301514","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10066016"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_92030","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":291,"numTeachers":27,"percentFrplEligible":76,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":13,"percentWhite":35,"percentIndigenous":8,"percentLatinx":30,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"10.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":49.6,"schoolId":92030,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Laura B Anderson Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Laura B Anderson Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/south-dakota/sioux-falls-school-district-49-5/laura-b-anderson-elementary-school/92030"}
