Seeing the colored printer with scanner used in my art classroom highlights how it can support imagination and artistic growth rather than replace hands-on creativity. The colored printer helps my students experiment with colors, shapes, and techniques without fear of making mistakes, building confidence as artists. It also gives my students access to creative tools and visual resources through printing and scanning other related artworks or worksheets that would be difficult to provide otherwise.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students most about this new art equipment is the freedom it gives them to create, revise, and explore their ideas. They love being able to try something new, undo and improve their work, and watch their artwork develop over time. My students are more willing to take creative risks and stay engaged longer because they have a printer to use which makes learning art feel interactive, modern, and fun. Many are eager to share their finished pieces, leading to meaningful discussions about artistic choices and inspiration.\r\n\r\nSome of my students have especially connected with this technology. Students who struggle with fine motor skills or lack confidence in traditional art activities are now able to fully express their ideas. We are exploring some digital works and print them out afterwards to see their finished works. At the same time, highly motivated artists are using advanced features to add depth and detail to their work. Thanks to your generosity, my students feel inspired, empowered, and proud of what they are creating in art class each day.","fullyFundedDate":1764626695442,"projectUrl":"project/printing-dreams-into-full-color/9578492/","projectTitle":"Printing Dreams into Full Color!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jellie","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10170654_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754970032017","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10170654"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_54940","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":277,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":0,"percentIndigenous":100,"percentLatinx":0,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 12","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":16.7,"schoolId":54940,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Takini School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Takini School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/south-dakota/-bureau-of-indian-affairs-/takini-school/54940"}
