These resources may seem like simple tools, but they have already made a meaningful difference in our PE classes by helping us stay organized, active, and engaged.\r\n\r\nOne of the first ways we put these resources to use was during our FitnessGram testing. The Bluetooth speaker allowed me to provide clear audio instructions and timers while helping students stay on pace during the different assessments. Having the ability to communicate instructions clearly and keep students moving helped create a more organized testing environment. The speaker also helped create a positive atmosphere and kept students motivated as they worked through activities that can sometimes be challenging.\r\n\r\nThe pinnies have also been extremely helpful during our daily activities. I can quickly divide students into teams or groups without spending valuable class time organizing students. This allows us to maximize our active time and get students moving faster. The whistle has been equally important in helping me communicate quickly with students in a large, active space and make sure transitions are safe and efficient.\r\n\r\nMy students come from diverse backgrounds and have a wide range of abilities and fitness levels. What has been especially rewarding is seeing students recognize that they are capable of improving and challenging themselves, regardless of where they started. These resources have helped me create a PE environment where students can focus less on waiting and confusion and more on moving, participating, working together, and building confidence.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue building on the skills students developed during FitnessGram and use what we learned about their individual fitness levels to help them set goals for improvement. \r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and helping me provide them with the tools they need to be successful.
