I was able to download the gamechanger app and successfully use the Ipad with the storage to take pictures and videos! We have it in a protective case to keep it from breaking. We are greatly appreciative of the generous donations you have made to help us maintain our stats, improve our mechanics, and give us a visual of what we need to fix. This Ipad's storage and processing speed is perfect for what we have been using it for for our softball team. Middle school PE can be hard for many reasons and one is being uncomfortable and afraid to sweat or be in the sun for too long. My students have been more willing to engage in hard work because they have access to deodorant, sunscreen, water bottles, sunglasses and wipes. They have can use them before class, during or after depending on what it is. My girls no longer have to ask to go to the nurse if they forgot their feminine hygiene products or if they unexpectedly need them. It is in a private spot in my office that is adjacent to the locker room. \r\n\r\nThe cart that I put together for the supplies has made all the students excited to know that they have what they need at school even if they don't have access to it at home because of finances, ran out, forgot to use it, etc. We don't allow our students to use disposable plastic water bottles because they often make messes in the gym or get left and cluttered. Providing students with a reuseable water bottle for those that aren't able to get one or have one break/lost is so helpful in keeping my students hydrated and engaged in their learning. \r\n\r\nWith the weather about to warm up soon they are already talking about how this year they have sunglasses that they will get to use and protect their eyes. They love using sunscreen when it is available after we did our lessons on skin care last year. They often have a misperceived notion of the importance in protecting our skin from UV rays and this provides them with the ability to practice using it and keeping them safe during the school day.","fullyFundedDate":1731881515936,"projectUrl":"project/help-us-stay-safe-comfortable-in-pe-duri/8512303/","projectTitle":"Help Us Stay Safe Comfortable in PE During Summer Heat","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Williams","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9603313"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_6879","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":783,"numTeachers":48,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":57,"percentWhite":30,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":4,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"16.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":57.9,"schoolId":6879,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Alice Drive Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Alice Drive Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/south-carolina/sumter-school-district/alice-drive-middle-school/6879"}
