I told the students that our donations would be arriving soon and they began ask me about them daily. Upon their arrival we all felt like we were experiencing Christmas all over again. Each box received a \"Wow\", or a \"That's Amazing\" even down to the markers. Seeing their faces light up brought great joy to me.\r\n\r\nOne of our most favorite gifts is the kitchen center. The creativity that takes place daily in that area is wonderful to witness. On one day it could be a family cooking for each other, the next day is could be a restaurant serving customers and using play money. I have to monitor this center to make sure everyone is getting a turn. I have seen students form new friendships because of this center. It warms my heart. This one center has sparked curiosity. creativity, and friendship.\r\n\r\nWe are thankful for every items that was donated. All items are appreciated and are used on a daily basis. Your kindness has created an environment where students feel empowered to choose how they learn best, making their educational experience more engaging and comfortable. The excitement on their faces as they explore their new seating options has been truly priceless. Your contribution has not just provided furniture; it has provided an opportunity for my students to thrive in ways that traditional seating never allowed.\r\nThe impact of this project has already been profound. Students who previously struggled with focus and engagement now have seating choices that better fit their needs, allowing them to stay more attentive and involved in their learning. Collaboration has flourished as students gather in comfortable spaces to share ideas, problem-solve, and work together. It is inspiring to see how something as simple as a seating arrangement can boost confidence, foster creativity, and create a sense of belonging within the classroom.\r\nYour generosity has made an immeasurable difference in the lives of these young learners, and we are forever grateful. Because of you, our classroom is now a space where students can learn in ways that support their individual needs, leading to greater success and joy in their education. Thank you for believing in our students and for investing in their future. Your kindness and support will have a lasting impact on their academic journey and beyond.\r\nWith heartfelt gratitude,","fullyFundedDate":1734536808910,"projectUrl":"project/a-cozy-classroom-lets-go-flexible/8905362/","projectTitle":"A Cozy Classroom: Let's Go Flexible!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Cooper","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7024756_orig.jpg?crop=540,540,x0,y210&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1611604175606","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7024756"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_26535","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":279,"numTeachers":25,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":88,"percentWhite":0,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"11.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":62.1,"schoolId":26535,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Felton Laboratory Charter School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Felton Laboratory Charter School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/south-carolina/south-carolina-public-charter-school-district/felton-laboratory-school/26535"}
