My students use them to solve problems, show their thinking, and explain their strategies. When they first saw the materials, they were excited to have a hands-on tool that allowed them to work freely, erase mistakes, and try different approaches. I especially noticed students who were usually quiet or hesitant becoming more willing to participate and share their answers. It was a simple but meaningful reminder that having the right resources can help students feel more confident in their mathematical thinking.\r\n\r\nOne classroom moment that stood out was during a problem-solving activity when students were asked to solve a challenging problem and show their reasoning on their boards. Instead of waiting for me to provide the answer, students worked through the problem, compared their strategies with classmates, and proudly held up their boards to share their solutions. I especially noticed that students who were less confident and often felt overwhelmed when working alongside faster classmates became more comfortable using the whiteboards. Rather than giving up or feeling pressured to keep up, they could work at their own pace, erase and try again, and continue solving even after most of the class had finished. This gave them the confidence to stay engaged in the learning process and reminded them that \"understanding the math is more important than being the fastest to finish.\"\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, students will continue using the whiteboards to tackle more challenging problems, explain their reasoning, and collaborate with their peers. Our goal is to build stronger problem-solving and communication skills while helping students become more confident and independent problem solvers.
