They were eager to explore the materials and quickly asked when they could start using them. Over the course of a week, I introduced the materials to the students, showing them how to use them in centers to strengthen their literacy skills and practice reading CVC words. The students had a blast using the materials each week to build words, read them, and play games with friends, all while enhancing their word knowledge. Thank you so much for your generous donation—these interactive, enjoyable materials truly motivate the students to engage in centers and work. They foster both play and learning in a fun and meaningful way.","fullyFundedDate":1733229047201,"projectUrl":"project/reading-can-be-fun/8928775/","projectTitle":"Reading Can Be Fun!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Parker","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7323202_orig.jpg?crop=1746,1746,x1546,y840&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1594701130567","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7323202"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_96214","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1621,"numTeachers":48,"percentFrplEligible":36,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":11,"percentWhite":72,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":9,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"33.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":74.5,"schoolId":96214,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Rudolph Gordon Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Rudolph Gordon Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/south-carolina/greenville-county-schools/rudolph-g-gordon-elementary-school/96214"}
