We are actively using the new building and design resources, most recently incorporating the magnetic building cubes and sticks into our weekly S.T.E.A.M. challenge time. Just last week, we used these components while exploring the principles of stability and magnetism to design structures capable of holding a small weight. One small group, initially struggling to create a rigid frame, discovered how the Tomyou building blocks could provide a sturdy base and how the magnetic sticks could quickly reinforce the structure's height and shape. This exploration quickly led them to a breakthrough in understanding the relationship between base size and structural height. The students' reaction when they first saw the materials—boxes filled with colorful blocks, satisfying magnetic clicks, and car building sets—was pure joy and excitement. They instantly recognized that these were resources for creative design and complex problem-solving. Your contribution didn't just provide supplies; it validated their desire to become real-world engineers and inventors.","fullyFundedDate":1758407355393,"projectUrl":"project/innovate-construct-a-grant-for-stem-e/9536685/","projectTitle":"Innovate & Construct: a Grant for Stem Education","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Poston","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1552980_orig.png?crop=475,475,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1696456415010","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-poston"},{"teacherId":3369175,"projectId":9618701,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for funding our classroom Math Station Manipulatives.
