They are glad to go out into the fresh air, blue sky, and sun after being at their desks and computers. The new texts focused on acceptance have encouraged thoughts and strengthened morale. They began the birdhouse building kits as an introduction to assembling, following directions, working together, and marketing. One house is complete, requiring painting. One of our students loves tools and is coordinated with his hands. One of our teachers introduced the class to sewing. Our teachers and students followed the embroidery directions after an introduction to sewing supplies and using the sewing machine.
