My students have been overjoyed to see all of the new materials that they can now use to play, create, collaborate, and enjoy! \r\nMy students are eager to come to school early enough to enjoy their extra recess time. We are even able to use our morning play room and our new materials during our normal recess time on days when we cannot go outside. \r\nMy first graders have missed \"center time\" from kindergarten and we have been able to set up centers and stations in our recess room to give them that experience once again! \r\nIt gives me so much joy as their teacher to see them eagerly working together, problem solving, and playing pretend with each other! They are so excited to show me all of their creations while they play! \r\nAs a result of this project, my students have been able to focus better during instruction and class work because they have had an additional opportunity to play. The students were so excited that they wanted to create their own graphic novels! Using our new books as a reference, my students were able to create their own hilarious graphic novels!! I was able to provide them with a graphic novel template and they began to write their own adventures! The students were so excited that they kept asking for more paper to make their stories longer! \r\nA learning experience like this is exactly what all students deserve. This is what makes teaching and learning such a joy!
